Analysis
The line-up is pretty straightforward, although I do have Dayan as a surprise at 3rd base. Chris Getz hits ahead of him in order to break up a string of 3 straight lefthanded hitters. (9,1,2) The 5th spot in the rotation will be won by Jeff Marquez because they will like his sinker and he will have a good Spring Training. I also believe Clayton Richard was better out of the bullpen last year (.e. Tampa Bay) The bench's only battle is at Catcher which Cole Armstrong will win due to his defense and his offensive abilities.

  5. Twenty-four days before his May 6 start, White Sox right-hander Gavin Floyd had a no-hitter going into the eighth inning, but, with just five outs remaining, Tigers shortstop Edgar Renteria singled to end the then-25-year-old's date with history.

  6. It's probably not that surprising that the provisional roster for Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic is so loaded with good catchers.
